Confined Space Entrant Training $185.00 Plus gst.

Confined Space Entrant & Attendant training & certification is 7 hours in duration depending on the number of students. This program is applicable to anyone working in and around confined spaces or restricted spaces. This one-day program will teach participants to safely identify, assess, monitor and enter these locations. This program also covers hazard identification, risk assessment. classification of spaces, atmospheric testing and monitoring, control measures, permitting/planning and emergency response requirements. Upon theory and practical written exercises,  students are required to write a final exam which has a minimum pass mark of 75%. Certification is by 3M | Safety Training and has a 3 year expiry. 

This program is only available onsite or in the workplace for business clients.

Respiratory Fit Testing is 15 to 20 minutes duration depending on the number of students and prior fit testing experience. This program is applicable to anyone using qualitive respiratory face masks & half mask respirators in the workplace. This program will include legislation requirements, controls, elements of a respiratory masks, evaluation of dangers, hazard assessment, forms of contaminants, filter/cartridge protection, cartridge replacement, respirator selection, maintenance, storage & inspection. During the fit test participants will test the seal of a respiratory on their face, including respirator selection, negative & positive air flow check & sensitivity testing. Certification is by Instructbc and has a 1 year expiry.
