The fall protection essentials training program is a basic fall protection training for new workers or workers using common and basic fall protection systems consistently. Course content includes shared fall protection systems such as guardrails, fall restraint & fall arrest systems as well as elevated work platforms compliance. This program covers hazard identification, fall protection oversight, rescue planning, anchor strength requirements and types, clearance calculations, body holding devices, types and fitting, connectors, basic lanyards, energy absorbers, self-retracting lanyards, equipment care and inspection requirements. Certification is by 3M | Safety Training and has a 3 year expiry.

The fall protection comprehensive training program is a more advanced fall protection training program and covers all fall safety systems . Course content includes shared fall protection systems, fall restraint systems, fall arrest systems, horizontal life-lines, vertical life-lines, control zone systems, safety nets, work positioning devices, controlled decent devices and/or administrative controls. This program covers hazard identification, fall protection oversight, fall safety systems and rescue planning, shared and personal systems, anchor strength requirements and types, body holding devices, types and fitting, connectors, basic lanyards, energy absorbers, self-retracting lanyards, inspection requirements, hands-on work shops, system evaluations and clearance calculations. Certification is by 3M | Safety Training and has a 3 year expiry.

The fall protection formal inspection training will qualify individuals to be able to conduct and document annual manufacturer's formal fall protection inspections. Program covers information for individuals who will be tasked with the responsibility of establishing and maintaining a work site fall protection equipment inventory, developing a managed on-site equipment care program, equipment markings and tracking systems, proper record keeping, formal equipment inspections, self-retracting lifeline inspection specifications, storage - individual and group gear, maintenance requirements & manufacturers requirements. Certification is by 3M | Safety Training and has a 3 year expiry.
